Welcome to Bristol
Bristol was
platted in 1835
making it one of the oldest towns in Elkhart County. Originally, it was two villages: Bristol on the east side of Vistula Street and Sydneyham on the west. Eventually, the two developers agreed on the name of Bristol, after some of the residents’ former homes in the U.K.

Bristol’s pickleball courts at Cummins Park (behind the Elkhart Historical Museum) are open to the public. There are size courts: one does not require scheduling, while the others can be reserved for free using the Court Reserve app. Download the app, register under Elkhart County, choose the free subscription, and you can schedule a court.
